A scalper is a person who trades and close an order within a short period of time.

A person trading in the equities or options and futures market who holds a position for a very short period of time in an attempt to profit from the bid-ask spread.

Someone who buys things, such as theatre tickets, at the usualprices and then sells them, when they are difficult to get, at much higher prices.
