1.0860 (with 4 decimal places) = 1.08600 (with 5 decimal places). And 1.086 (with 3 decimal places) = 1.08600 (with 5 decimal places). At times, you will see "the figure" referred to. This would be a price of the form 1.08 (with 2 decimal places). If you understand the answers above, then you will see immediately that --- 1.08 = 1.080 = 1.0800 = 1.08000
