Some traders have entry signals. The "before-the-fact analysis" was done LONG BEFORE THE SIGNAL WAS DESIGNATED A VALID ENTRY SIGNAL(ie backtesting /forward testing). Now the trader's job is to simply take the signal (trading on autopilot). To not take the signal would be to call himself a liar.
