Can you give me a brief explanation of the Forex?
The foreign exchange market, or Forex for short, is the largest global financial market. In this market, currencies of various countries can be bought or sold on a 24 hour basis throughout the week, except on Saturdays and Sundays. As compared to traditional markets, the Forex does not require a central exchange location for individuals to conduct trades. Instead of a centralized base of operations, trades can be done from anywhere in the world using only a computer connected to the internet.

An accommodating characteristic of the Forex is the ability for traders to participate in it with a capital significantly smaller than what would be needed in other markets by borrowing from their broker. Using their starting money, traders can make a profit in a short amount of time even if the market direction is going down because of the market’s particularly high liquidity.

Because of this convenience and availability, it has risen in popularity resulting in more people and institutions investing their money through Forex transactions. It currently boasts $3 trillion as its daily turnover rate blowing away its peers such as stock markets which it is 50 times larger than.

The Forex’ biggest biggest players are international banks and financial institutions. Together, they determine the value of currencies by comparing them to one another and this makes up the exchange rates used by countries all over the world.
