Do You Need A Credit Card?
Having a credit card has somewhat become a norm for people who have jobs and are well on their way to establishing their financial wealth. There is no law requiring you to get one however most people do. But is it for you too?
Getting a credit card is a big deal. It is a commitment which if you do not pay attention to, may take you down to a debt-ridden life. Despite this, many people still endure and here’s why.
1) It’s convenient
Instead of bringing cash which can be stolen from you and be gone forever, credit cards can be reported missing and easily replaced because the money you will spend isn’t paid for yet.
2) It’s secure
You are spending cash that are not yet in your hands. The greatest robbery you would have to face is your financial control of not succumbing to impulse purchases.
3) It’s a guarantor
One of the best use of credit cards is as proof of your good credit score. This means that if you have plans of buying a house or a car, you are already backed up by your credit card.
4) It’s a shortcut
What was once a grueling process of buying, booking, shopping, etc. has been eliminated by credit cards. Today, credit cards mean that you can book instantly and purchase quickly.
Having a credit card is a must for some people who have complex financial plans and who have the guts to keep a monthly payment aside for it. If you are one of those people that are confident in their financial management skills then go for it. Whether a credit card is bad or good will always be up to you.
